The Eat Out Gluten-free Challenge in Parliament

Coeliac UK took the Food Without Fear campaign to Parliament in England and Scotland on Thursday 15th May.

Luncheons took place simultaneously in both Westminster and Holyrood where Coeliac UK ate gluten-free food and met with key stakeholders and parliamentarians to talk about the difficulties faced when eating out on a gluten-free diet.  We highlighted the 1 in 100 people who have coeliac disease throughout the UK and the lack of gluten-free provision for people with coeliac disease in all sections of the food service sector.

This was a great event to meet with those who decide the policy that effects people with coeliac disease and to ensure they are aware of our campaign messages.
