Coeliac Disease: An Overview of ManagementCoeliac UK has been working with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) to develop an exciting postgraduate training day for dietitians on coeliac disease management for 2008. The course is aimed at dietitians who would like to develop their knowledge and skill base in coeliac disease management in children and adult patients. The day will give a general overview of coeliac disease, including symptoms, diagnosis and associated conditions and health complications. Detailed information and practical advice will be given on the gluten-free diet, and the types of resources and tools available for both patients and health professionals will be highlighted. National management guidelines and international standards will also be discussed.
